Botanical Reverie
This sculptural ceramic pedestal bowl is a celebration of lush botanical landscapes and the timeless beauty of flowering plants. Handbuilt and hand-painted, the piece transforms a functional object into a small garden captured in ceramic.
Across the interior unfolds a vibrant botanical composition: a radiant lily opens at the center like a small sun, surrounded by exotic leaves and blossoms inspired by distant travels and tropical vegetation. The delicate brushwork allows each plant to move organically across the surface, creating a sense of life and gentle movement.
The bowl’s irregular, softly ruffled rim gives the piece a natural, almost floral silhouette, as if the vessel itself were blooming. The warm pink speckled glaze that covers the exterior and pedestal base adds softness and warmth, grounding the vivid botanical painting inside.
Elevated on its elegant pedestal, the bowl becomes both functional and sculptural. It can beautifully hold fruits, cakes, or desserts, while also serving as a decorative centerpiece that brings color, nature, and artistry into the space.
Each piece carries the subtle variations of the hand and brush, making it entirely unique—a small ceramic garden created through craftsmanship and imagination.
