Blooming Earth Cups
Hand built and hand-painted ceramic tea / coffee cups
Dimensions: 10 × 6 cm
These ceramic cups are part of a small story where craft, travel, and nature meet.
Each cup is entirely hand built and hand-painted, decorated with botanical illustrations inspired by plants and flowers encountered during travels. The earthy ceramic body carries the warmth of clay, while the painted motifs bring the feeling of a living garden to the surface.
The handles are adorned with natural stones that form small colorful circles of energy and beauty.
The stones used in these handles were hand-selected by the author, in Jaipur, India, a historic center of gemstone craftsmanship in the colorful region of Rajasthan, famous for its vibrant markets and centuries-old stone traditions.
Among them you can find:
Green Agate, some of them with Jade, traditionally associated with harmony, balance, and prosperity.
Lapis Lazuli, some of them with deep blue Jasper, stones connected with wisdom, clarity, and inner truth.
Carnelian, a warm orange stone known for vitality, creativity, and courage.
Pink Jade, often associated with compassion, emotional warmth, and gentle energy.
Turquoise, some of them with blue Agate, stones connected with protection, communication, and calmness.
Each circular handle composition is finished with a delicate Japanese silk tassel, adding elegance and movement to the design while reflecting the dialogue between different craft traditions across cultures.
The result is a piece that carries a journey within it —
Georgia in the clay, Rajasthan in the stones, and the quiet ritual of tea shared somewhere in between.
Every cup is unique, shaped and painted by hand.
