Journey & Inspiration
My artistic language has been shaped by movement, travel, and cultural encounters.
In 2018, I traveled to South India, where I attended masterclasses in handbuilding techniques—an experience that deepened my connection to clay as a tactile and intuitive medium.
In 2019, I continued this journey in Bát Tràng, Vietnam, learning traditional methods of molding and firing rooted in centuries of craftsmanship.
In 2020, I was in Morocco, in Fes and Rabat, where I studied ceramic tile production and painting techniques—discovering a new relationship with ornament, rhythm, and surface.
In 2023, I attended flower modeling masterclasses in Milan, and later, in 2025, I deepened my knowledge in tile painting in Lisbon, Portugal.
My inspiration comes from:
- Nature and botanical forms
- Ancient traditions and rituals
- Places I travel and cultures I experience
I often travel to Rajasthan, India, where I personally select semi-precious stones, which I later integrate into my ceramic works—cups, boards, and objects with a subtle jewelry-like character.
This combination has become a signature element of my work—
a dialogue between Georgia in the clay and India in the stones.
