“Hidden Tropics” –Fruit Bowl

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=””]This sculptural ceramic bowl feels like a fragment of nature gently opened—revealing a secret world within. Handbuilt and hand-painted, the form is inspired by organic shells, seed pods, and natural vessels that protect and conceal life.

Its outer surface, softly glazed in warm pink and violet tones, carries a quiet, tactile calm. In contrast, the interior unfolds into a vibrant botanical composition—lush tropical leaves, delicate blossoms, and flowing forms that seem to grow and move across the surface. The painting invites the viewer inward, like stepping into a hidden garden discovered during travel.

The irregular, torn-like opening gives the piece its distinctive character, as if the form has naturally split open over time, revealing the richness inside. This contrast between exterior simplicity and interior abundance speaks of discovery, transformation, and the beauty that lies beneath the surface.

Both functional and expressive, the piece can be used as a fruit bowl, cake vessel, or sculptural centerpiece. It brings warmth, color, and a sense of story into any space.

Each work is entirely one of a kind, shaped and painted by hand, carrying the marks of process, movement, and imagination.
